How to make Corn Cutlets

Learn how to make Corn Cutlets.


Normally we are use to have veg. cutlets. But here it's a homemade recipe for Corn cutlets, a very easy and delicious recipe made from sweet corn. It can be served for breakfast as well as snacks also. A good option for starter also.


Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time 15 minutes
Serves 2 person


Ingredients to make Corn Cutlets:


1 cup boiled sweet corn
1 table spoon semolina
2 table spoons gram flour
          or
2 table spoon corn flour
2 to 3 green chili finely chopped
1 tea spoon ginger paste
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
1 tea spoon lemon juice
A pinch garam masalo
1 big potato boiled and mashed
1/2 red capsicum chopped
1/2 green capsicum chopped
Salt to taste
Corn flour for dusting
Oil for frying


To serve with:


Tomato ketch up


Method to make Corn cutlets:

  • Roughly crush half of the sweet corn. Mix all the ingredients in a big mixing bowl.
  • Make small petties from the mixture.
  • Roll it in corn flour. 
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry cutlets in it till light brown.
  • When fried remove from oil and drain on absorbent kitchen tissue.
  • Serve hot and delicious Sweet corn cutlets with tomato ketch up.
Tips for Corn Cutlets:
  • Finely chopped onion,cabbage and paneer can be added.
  • Dip frying can be avoided.
